Welcome 2009 with Cajun Turkey !

In the backdrop of Financial Crisis and gloomy days ahead..
the CAJUN spirit sparkled !

The Ex-USL / Eastmain friends residing in Singapore,
celebrated the New Year with lots and lots of Cajun food !

Gumbo !
Et Taufet !

And best of all....
the FAT 7-Kg turkey....cooked with Cajun spices specially
imported from Lafayette,
Louisiana by Alex Sia & Winnie Gan !


It was a celebration to welcome 2009......

It was a catch-up session for ex-USL / Eastmain kakies....

It was a makan gathering that we have been looking
forward to ....

It was a get-together cum networking session that filled
with laughters and well wishes !

It was certainly, the manifestation of Rajun Cajun Spirits !



This 7-Kg Turkey.... was contributed RAW by Mabel Lee.....baked by LS Heng.

These Yummy Yummy Fruit muffins were home-baked by Kei Peng .
And they are all ORGANIC !!
Suppose to be of square shape ( like bread ).... but Kei Peng has " customised " it
so that it is easy to distribute and eat !
So thoughful of you , Kei Peng !
